About The Cemetery
 
River Styx Cemetary is one of the oldest cemeterys around this area.  It is located just outside of Wadsworth on River Styx Rd.  There is a crypt located underground in a tunnel.  In this crypt, there are many reports of an apparition of a "lady in white," was said to be murdered by her husband.  He was never convicted, so she wonders trying to tell her story.  There are also a few stories saying that many of dead here are not at rest.  Back at the turn of the century, people would dig up the dead and sell thier bodies for scientific research.  Are there ghosts wondering here looking for thier bodies?

This is a picture of the entrence to the crypt.  The crypt is actually an undergound tunnel that goes under the cememtery.  You can see th e bars have been bent and cut probably from people trying to get in.  This is where most activity has been reported.



Here a few pictures of the headstones at the cemetery,  They are extreamly old and very few have fallen over or have been vandalized.

This picture was taken October 06. It was 43 degrees outside and very clear. The only thing behind us was woods.  The moon was in the west, and the photograph was taken of the east.
