About The Cemetery
Western Star Cemetery is the second oldest cemetery in Norton Twp. It was formaly called "Griswolds Corners". It was founded in the 1800's and holds a host of Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War veterans. In the newer section of the cemetary there are a few WW1, WW2, and Vietam veterans. We have been told that this cemetery holds a host of victims from a diphtheria pandemic in the 1800's. People feared to enter this cemetery for fear of catching the deadly disease. Becasue of this reason, it was considered unlucky to past through its gates.
The Sign says "Western Star Cemetery c.1800 (formally Griswold's Corners) Second Oldest Settlement. Norton Twp. Est 1845"

Evidence From our Investigation

The picture above was taken December 2, 2006. It was windy outside with clear skies. The temperature rocked between 32-28 degrees. There was an object in the shape of a circle on the tombstone. Earlier that day we caught many orbs in the same area of the cemetery. We went back the next day and found out the orb was just an old tarnished war medallion. Debunked
This video was taken when Dustin and Paul went to look around the cemetery to plan the investigation. There was a lot of action in that part of the cemetery with orbs showing up and moving.
